We believe that each child is unique and needs to have a secure caring and stimulating environment to grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively. A Kid’s Corp is passionate about our children developing new skills, and having a positive experience at a home away from home environment. Setting goals for them and watching their excitement when goals are achieved along with making new friends, and taking small steps into the future.

As a child care provider I encourage parents to get involved in the education of their child. Our program is operated on the belief that the focal point of the activities and services provided must be geared to working with the whole child his total environment and his total group of effective relationships with people.

It’s our belief at A kids Corp. infant and child care to make a smooth transition from old concepts of Child Development Centers into an expansion of services and activities that bring together all resources for our families. We focus on encouraging children to be respectful, kind, polite, honest and fair. These are the building blocks moving forward unto their Journey called LIFE . By being a family child care we develop a closer teacher to child bond. Also mixed with age groups allowing our children more interaction with one another. Our daycare provides love and acceptance. Our curriculum leans towards the child’s present stage of development and promotes progress in the child’s learning ability. There are five essential variables that we Implement in the program that includes active learning, daily schedule, classroom arrangements , age appropriate curriculum and free play.

Mission

We believe in children setting limits and appropriate guidelines will help the child to monitor their own behavior and social situations and in conflict with one another. With these goals in mind for ongoing development of our program in conjunction with our staff child and parent. The parent will be in the forefront of all program operations decisions and assessments of programs. As our philosophy is one that says the receivers of our are program services namely the parents, know best what their needs are for themselves and their children. Our staff is also responsible for the safety and well-being of each child. Staff provides role-modeling through small group activities and hands on experiences. We Believe that the child has an equal value to our program, and activity, work support and full inclusion of children with diverse abilities and disabilities as well as those children from all socio-economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
